This week can be replete with various surprises, startling new possibilities, and a sense of magic and mini-miracles occurring frequently.
Despite being pulled in several directions as we start this week, we are likely to be confident, optimistic and open to the awe and wonder of these changing times.
And changing times they are, for this week can offer us greater evidence of the paradigm shift where we do not have to do it all but we do have to be open to the wonders of the universe unfolding. It would be wise for us to put aside our plans and be willing to engage spontaneously, even impulsively, the unexpected scenarios that are likely to arise.
The early part of this week opens doors that we could hardly have imagined for ourselves. Let’s not put on blinders and close ourselves off to situations that might arise out of the blue.
As the week progresses, Mercury turns direct, ending the three-week Mercury retrograde cycle, and one that might have proven to be a real doozy. I know for myself there were various hiccups along the way, including Internet connectivity issues, television reception being out for several days, malware placed on my computer and people expressing a general malaise that was often hard to identify but certainly ratcheted up anxiety and concern.
Let’s keep in mind that whenever Mercury turns in direction, whether from direct to retrograde or from retrograde to direct motion, things get rather squirrely. The mid-week to latter part of the week can have us experiencing things being somewhat convoluted.
We just have to keep our wits about us this week, take care of what needs to get done but also look up and be open to the magic of these times. We are in the midst of a paradigm shift, a change that allows things to evolve in a non-sequential manner, times that offer us exciting new opportunities that we do not have to make happen but rather have us being in the right place at the right time.
The weekend may have us doing a makeover, whether that makeover is our personal appearance or the environment in which we operate. The end of the weekend may have us fast out of the starting gate, involving ourselves in any number of activities.
The end of this weekend also has retrograde Saturn exiting Sagittarius to return to Scorpio for its summer run. Many issues of the past two years could step up for us to review, and possibly even rework. While we might have assumed that some of the pressing issues during 2012 and 2013 were resolved and concluded, we might have an eerie sense over this summertime that: ‘they’re baaack’.
Monday, June 8th – Here, There and Everywhere – Lunar T-Square, Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, Sun, Jupiter. We begin the week on this Monday with a Lunar T-Square as the Pisces Moon conjuncts Neptune, the Moon squares Mercury in Gemini and the Moon squares Saturn in Sagittarius. The Sun sextiles Jupiter. This is a day when we may be full speed ahead, but the ahead could also have us running in circles. Unless we have planned out our day or made certain of our scheduling, we might find ourselves all over the place. There can be a lack of clarity to this day with us being pushed and pulled in various directions. We may feel sublime confidence in anything and everything that we are doing, but we are also liable to be operating in something of a haze, dazed by both our responsibilities and what seem to be limitless options. Everyone may be operating from a high state of anxiety questioning where and how the next shoe is likely to drop. Monday is a day for us to pull in the reins, not get overly emotional or moody and concentrate on what needs to be done, all the while keeping a bead on options and alternatives. Our interest might be drawn more to situations foreign to us, scenarios beyond our reach and the prospects of matters far beyond our normal routine. We could postpone our obligations for other involvements that catch our fancy and allow us more of an uplift. Even if we put off our routine tasks until tomorrow, or the next day or the following day, we cannot cast off our obligations indefinitely. We might decide to deal with what needs to be done early in the day in order for us to engage more exciting events later in the day.
Tuesday, June 9th – Fast and Furious – Pluto, Sun, Mars, Moon Void-of-Course, Uranus. Tuesday continues with the Pisces Moon with the Moon today sextile Pluto and the Moon square both the Sun and Mars in Gemini. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for over seventeen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Pisces and before the Moon enters Aries tomorrow. Mars sextiles Uranus. Monday and Tuesday can have us expending a great deal of energy, highly confident of our abilities and optimistic about our outcomes. At the same time, we might not be playing with a full deck. Although we can strategize and devise a best practices approach to our varied involvements, the main question is whether we are willing to take the time to plan out and schedule our activities. Unfortunately, the answer to that question is likely to be ‘no’. Instead, we may be running at a fast pace going from one thing to another, trying to cover all bases with our attention span minimal at best and with us easily distracted by situations that crop up out of nowhere. Focus and concentration are called for today, and such a disposition would pay handsome dividends. We can easily streamline our operations, prioritize our activities and focus on the most meaningful… if we so choose. It’s always about choice and our enthusiasm and confidence can run into irrational exuberance whereby we try to do it all and then some. Spontaneity and impulsiveness are key attributes at the beginning of this week. We just have to avoid our hurting ourselves in our racing around.
Wednesday, June 10th – Everything’s Coming Up Roses – Lunar Grand Trine, Saturn, Venus, Mercury, Sun, Uranus. Wednesday may be considered ‘hump’ day coming as it does in the middle of the work week, but this Wednesday could give us a sense of a liftoff. This may prove to be the primo day of the week. The Moon moves into Aries where today the Moon sextiles Mercury and the Moon triggers a Fire Grand Trine with the Aries Moon trine Saturn in Sagittarius and the Moon trines Venus in Leo. Mercury sextiles Venus and the Sun sextiles Uranus. We can have it all going on today. We are likely to have an intriguing aura around us today. Our communications can be gracious and enlivening, and our presentations vibrant and appealing. Wednesday is a day when we can open new doors, cross the threshold and enter an entirely new realm. Much of the magic today is as a result of a new sense of ourselves. We are feeling upbeat, more autonomous in our involvements and willing to take the road less traveled. This is a day that accentuates our ‘ME’ qualities with an emphasis on presenting a different aspect of ourselves than people might be familiar with. We are operating on all eight cylinders today and could virtually move mountains. Not a day to waste, things can come quickly and easily on this Wednesday.
Thursday, June 11th – Hiccups – Pluto, Jupiter, Uranus, Sun, Mars, Mercury direct. Wednesday could have had us smooth sailing along, enjoying grand new adventures with everything going our way. It’s incredible when everything seems to go right, nothing goes wrong. Wednesday could have felt that way, especially if we had our antennae up and were open to receive some of the magic and mini-miracles of these times of paradigm shift. Thursday could prove a different tale. Today, the Aries Moon squares Pluto, the Moon trines Jupiter, the Moon conjuncts Uranus, the Moon sextiles both the Sun and Mars. Various curveballs may be thrown our way, but these very same curveballs may demand that we deal with our obligations but also forces us to consider another way. Our confidence is not diminished, but we may feel forced to deal with situations that we would prefer to avoid. Let’s see any reining in of our exuberance as a tempering process, a honing to delve below the surface and focus on the immediate and the opportunities presented to us. The real kicker to this day is Mercury with Mercury ending its three-week retrograde cycle and turning direct today. We can let out a huge sigh of relief, for this Mercury retrograde could have proven not only challenging but downright vexing. I have written before of my own issues during this Mercury retrograde but to delineate further — Internet connectivity issues not once but twice, television hosting service out for four days, drawing upon AppleCare twice to resolve identity / password / mail matters, clients tied up with immediate problems forcing rescheduling and learning of other people’s problems with this Mercury retrograde. Yes, this Mercury retrograde has been a doozey, but Mercury ends its retrograde cycle today and turns direct. Great news to be celebrated, but it would be wise for us to remember that whenever Mercury changes direction whether from direct to retrograde or from retrograde to direct, those days seem to heighten the issues with Mercury. This is a day for us to enjoy our enthusiasm but to walk softly, act gingerly, all with an appreciation that things may take longer than we like or that the intended labyrinth might change into a maze.
Friday, June 12th – Still Foggy – Venus, Neptune retrograde. In the latter part of Thursday, Mercury turned direct. We might still be feeling some level of confusion or misunderstanding on this Friday, as we reacquaint ourselves with Mercury going direct. Any lack of clarity today can be heightened from Neptune turning retrograde. The Moon enters Taurus where today the Moon squares Venus. This is a day when we have to be wary of purchases made, presentations given and a general inability to put things together effectively. The liability towards spending more than our budget allows for is strong today. This is a day when we could spend more and get less. And our taste could border on the garish. We just aren’t focused or clear. We might be champing at the bit wanting to get things together, arrange things in their proper order, but our tendency could be having too many pieces for our puzzle or having ill-fitting pieces that we are trying to force into an ill-conceived puzzle plan. Relationships this evening could get a little irritating. Everyone may be standing firm in their beliefs, their opinions and unwilling to bend, adapt or be flexible. Diplomacy may be called for but unlikely to be engaged.
Saturday, June 13th – Creating Impressions – Neptune, Pluto, Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course. Saturday continues with the Taurus Moon with the Moon today sextile Neptune, the Moon trine Pluto and the Moon square Jupiter. We might choose some form of makeover today, whether that makeover be our personal appearance, our environment or just straightening and tidying up. We want to make good impressions, create a sanctuary for ourselves and clear away the superfluous and the extraneous. We may have a certain mystique about us today, projecting a most intriguing impression but one that conveys satin and lace with a hard-boiled, intense and penetrating undercurrent. While we might be looking at creating a soft and pliant exterior, our interior being is focused and concentrated. We could have a fascinating way about us today with a combination of disparate elements that nonetheless seem to work well together. As the day progresses, we do have to be wary of spending too much and satiating our appetites with immediate gratification. Late in the day, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for almost twenty hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Taurus and before the Moon enters Gemini on Sunday.
Sunday, June 14th – Step Back, Jack – Moon Void-of-Course, Saturn, Mercury, Sun, Mars, Saturn Scorpio. Sunday begins with the Moon in Taurus and the Void-of-Course Moon that began yesterday continuing on into this Sunday as the Moon finishes its transit of Taurus without any further connections to the planets and before the Moon enters Gemini today, where today the Moon opposes Saturn, just prior to Saturn exiting Sagittarius to retrograde back into Scorpio. The Gemini Moon also conjuncts Mercury. The Sun conjuncts Mars and Saturn retrogrades back out of Sagittarius to enter Scorpio for Saturn’s rerun through the Summer of its transit of the Fixed Water Sign. We may be gung-ho to get this day going with all sorts of intentions and scheduled commitments. Our movement can be slowed by delays and our need to address outstanding issues once thought resolved. We may be champing at the bit to get on with things, but we might come to realize that things take longer than we like. This is a day for us to step back, consider what needs to be done and devise a best practices approach before launching forward. We may want to cover a lot of bases today, but it would be wiser for us to slow things down, catch our breath and recharge for the week ahead with its Gemini New Moon on Tuesday.
