After a flurry of activity at the beginning of this week, the week settles into a methodical approach of addressing our routine matters with occasional surprises mixed in.
Another slow starting week, the energy ratchets up shortly thereafter with the sense of Fats Waller’s classic line: “the joint is jumpin’.”
We might be juggling any number of things in the early part of the week. Talk about spiked up energy! The early part of the week is lit up by the Sagittarius Full Moon and the trigger to a Mutable Sign T-Square. People may be on edge and anxious, and the liability towards misunderstanding and dysfunction cannot be discounted. The more we can slow things down and take time for due deliberation, the less likely we are to throw ourselves into a bottomless morass of dire confusion and relationship problems.
Despite the high intensity of the Full Moon early in the week, things can level out and move towards our dealing with what we need to accomplish. If we focus on the truly important and any pressing demands, we might find that we are being far more effective with far less expenditure of energy. We just have to watch out for the Full Moon and any tendency to react impetuously and act impulsively. The joint may be jumping, but it would be wise for us not to jump spasmodically or question how high.
We can have a lot on our plate, even add on some extra, but our figuring out the best course of action can streamline our operations and move things swiftly along.
The weekend may be geared towards trips for family celebrations, reunions, getting out of Dodge, or maybe just staying put. No matter what we choose to do over the weekend, the emphasis will be on good times. Fun, exciting encounters can be the name of the weekend game, and we are certainly up for some pleasurable activities. Although we can enjoy ourselves over the weekend, we have to be wary that we don’t exhaust ourselves with too much of a good thing.
Monday, June 1st – Tidying Up – Venus, Moon Void-of-Course, Saturn. Monday starts the week with the Scorpio Moon trine Venus. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for over seven and a half hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio and before the Moon enters Sagittarius where today the Moon conjuncts Saturn. We may want to tie up loose ends today, bring certain matters to closure, all the while that we are straightening, tidying up, cleaning and clearing up the clutter. The early part of the day may be spent in dealing with what needs to get done. We might prefer to focus on the specifics and do so on our own terms, in our own time. If we could do some of our tasks without distractions or interruptions from other people, the better it would be. We can continue with our straightening and tidying but as the day progresses, we might feel as if the wind has been knocked out of our sails with us exhausted and slightly on overwhelm. We have to watch our mood swings especially in light of tomorrow’s Full Moon. Let’s try and maintain an ‘up’ attitude and not allow our emotions to get the better of us.
Tuesday, June 2nd – Too Much Is Never Enough – Lunar T-Square, Sagittarius Full Moon, Mercury, Neptune, Sun, Mars, Jupiter. Welcome to one high intensity day, or should we refer to it as ‘Bonker Day’? Tuesday has the Sagittarius Full Moon triggering a Lunar T-Square with the Moon square Neptune and the Moon opposed the Gemini-transiting planets of Mercury, Mars and the Sun. The day ends with the Moon trine Jupiter. This Tuesday can have us all over the place, trying this, trying that, scurrying around but all with the sense of a frenetic, even frantic, energy. We might find ourselves being impelled by concern, anxiety and fear. Let’s keep in mind that fear often stands for ‘false evidence appearing real’. Although it would be wise for us to use due diligence and plan out our day, we are more likely to go the impetuous, impulsive route, being drawn to whatever catches our fancy at any moment. The movements today can be very staccato-like as we jump from one thing to something totally unconnected to yet another. We might want to cover all bases today, but the key to this day is to cover each base well. Unfortunately, our ability to focus is limited today, and so we may carom from one thing to another, even to the point of going around in circles, creating a great hoo-ha but without effectively accomplishing much in the process. With all the running around that we are likely to be doing, we could easily exhaust ourselves. Towards the end of the day, we are still in an expansive mood, but run now more with confidence and optimism than anxiety and fearfulness.
Wednesday, June 3rd – Waiting For – Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course. Early Wednesday, the Sagittarius Moon trines Uranus before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for almost nineteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before the Moon enters Capricorn late in the day. Although yesterday might have had us all over the place, all with the intention of finding some needle in some haystack, the end of yesterday and early this Wednesday could convince us that there is something out there that will make a dramatic difference to our journey and the way that we are going. Somewhat akin to the three wise men in Christianity’s Bible waiting for and seeing the sign in the heavens to start their journey in search of the master teacher, we may be more interested in waiting for a sign of a new direction for ourselves. We have all gone through tremendous and often dramatic transformations over the past few years. We may have felt that there have been more releases from our past patterns than new doors opening up to us. But now we are ready for even a glimmer of future ways that might be different from our past. Few of us are looking to re-create our past. On the contrary, we are ready to do something different from what we have been doing, engage something more appealing to who we are becoming rather than who we have been. Wednesday is a day for us to consider doing something different, a break from old patterns. Even if we feel stuck in our routine, it would be wise for us to add some spice to today’s unfolding. It might mean taking a different route from our usual itinerary, having a snack we don’t usually eat, or just doing something unfamiliar no matter how trite it might seem. Instead of reinforcing old patterns, today is a day to change things even if infinitesimally. Even a subtle shift in our daily routine can inspire greater changes as time goes on.
Thursday, June 4th – Inspired Focus – Neptune, Pluto. Wednesday could have had us catching our breath after Tuesday’s whirlwind Full Moon activity. If we stepped off the track yesterday or did something even slightly different from our normal ways of doing things, such an action could have helped us recharge our batteries, reinvigorated us and given us a second wind. Thursday has the Capricorn Moon sextile Neptune and the Moon conjunct Pluto. We may be prepared to concentrate on some of our truly meaningful goals and significant projects. Not only can we draw upon an intuitive sense regarding a best practices approach, but we can also cut to the core, focus on the fundamentals and build from the foundation stones up. This is a day when we can establish firm foundations and accomplish a great deal. We may be inspired and determined today, and we could find ourselves streamlining our operations and moving swiftly along as if on greased wheels. This Thursday is a great day to get things done.
Friday, June 5th – Living for the Weekend – Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course, Mars, Jupiter, Venus Leo. Thursday was a day for us to take care of what we wanted to get done. If we worked with the energy, we could have gotten a lot done, been highly productive and incredibly effective in whatever we were choosing to do. Friday is a day when we might choose to tie up any loose ends, but our attention might be more towards our weekend plans, even to the extent of starting our weekend early. The Capricorn Moon today squares Uranus. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for over eighteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Capricorn and before the Moon enters Aquarius early on Saturday. Even if we address outstanding matters in order to clear the decks before the weekend, we are likely to have one foot in what needs to get done and our other foot out the door looking to engage some fun activities. As the day progresses, Venus exits Cancer to enter Leo and Mars sextiles Jupiter. No matter what our plans might be, our intentions are likely to shift from dealing with the details of our lives to an interest in having good times with good friends. We might be making plans for get-togethers, even consider getting out of Dodge and look at reconnecting with people at various reunions or social celebrations. Many of us may head out of town before the sun goes down, and we are more than likely to have some interesting adventures in mind for the weekend.
Saturday, June 6th – Reconnections and Reunions – Venus, Saturn, Mercury. Saturday has the Moon in Aquarius with the Moon today opposed Venus, the Moon sextile Saturn and the Moon trine Mercury. Venus trines Saturn. Whether in person, on the phone, by text or email, we could be in contact with people far and wide. Some of our interactions may be people with whom we have quite a past, people with whom we have done the dance before but also people who have not been in our lives recently. This is a day for reconnections and reunions. Whatever the occasion might be, and whether we show up in person or are absent but thinking of certain people, we might find ourselves going down Memory Lane about old times with old friends. Although we might awaken with a desire to do something totally other than our planned engagements, we could discover that our commitments turn out to be fun involvements. There can be a great deal of pleasure in reflecting on where we have been and with whom we have been there. This Saturday can be one of simple enjoyments. We don’t have to set the world on fire in order to have a good time. Discussions, get-togethers and times of sharing can put a smile on our face and warm our heart.
Sunday, June 7th – Fast Out of the Starting Gate – Sun, Jupiter, Mars, Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course. Sunday has the Aquarius Moon trine the Sun, the Moon opposed Jupiter, the Moon trine Mars and the Moon sextile Uranus. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost eighteen hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before the Moon enters Pisces tomorrow. The energy today is strongest in the early part of the day. We may want to do a number of different activities today, and we could be somewhat akin to a butterfly alighting here briefly before flying off to alight somewhere else briefly then… You get the picture. This Sunday could have us endeavoring any number of projects and activities but possibly without much singular focus. We are far more interested in a wide scope of possibilities than narrowing our vision. Surprises and unexpected situations would be most welcome to us today. We want to spread our wings, explore new terrain but all with a sense of sampling rather than any long-term or definitive commitment. As the day progresses, we might choose to slow things down and settle into quality time with that special someone.
