March 30th – April 5th, 2015

Just as this week ends March and begins the month of April, this week also has endings and beginnings with the week crescendoing over the weekend with the Libra Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse.

We may start the week feeling upbeat and choosing to connect with someone who can help us realize our goals, make our dreams come true. We are more interested in the new and different rather than the known and familiar. We might be doing an inventory taking, considering what we truly want in our lives and those areas that are just a drag on who we are becoming and where our new interests lie.

Early in the week, Mercury exits Pisces, a Sign in which Mercury is in Detriment and not comfortable, to enter Aries, and Mars exits its own Sign of Aries to enter Taurus, a Sign in which Mars is in Detriment and not comfortable. The switching of these planets can close out our recent emotional mindset and focus our thoughts on our own personal goals and interests, and then keep us from being hasty and impetuous to establish our new pursuits in a step-by-step manner, and hopefully assisting us in building upon rock rather than on sand.

We come into April mid-week on a high note. The Fire Grand Trine is ignited, and we are likely to feel confident and optimistic, yet utilizing a best practices approach to expand our goals. We may be more concerned about our personal interests, and that could cause some irritation with our relationships. A great self-focus and self-interest may seem like self-centeredness, and we shall have to be wary that in concentrating on our own goals we aren’t stepping on someone else’s toes or alienating someone.

While we would prefer people to support, even advocate, our involvements, there could be a pushback around this early April period. We may need to be adept at threading the needle in our dealings with other people. Charm and diplomacy can go a long way to dampen the fires of irritation. Otherwise, we could feel like we are being stymied and blocked by people, events and circumstance.

The Libra Full Moon over the weekend is a Lunar Eclipse. We have to avoid an either or situation whereby we accept the belief that either someone is for us or they are against us. The extremes can only wreak havoc, and this first week of April has various curveballs that will force us to stay on our toes, do the tai chi moves and recognize that we are truly not islands unto ourselves.

The twists and turns early in the week may unfold into us feeling as though we are on top of the world during the latter part of the week.

The weekend ratchets up the energy severalfold, especially in regard to our interactions with other people. The weekend ends with Easter Sunday. Some of us may feel that similar to the mythological bird the phoenix we are rising from the ashes of our burned out past. Others may feel as though they are finding themselves on the cross of their past, crucified. But like any ending comes new beginnings, and this is a season when we strip away the dross and concentrate on the new beginnings.

Monday, March 30th – Fundamental Connections – Jupiter, Venus, Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course, Pluto, Mercury Aries. We may start the week on this Monday with a burst of energy and a desire to establish our new foundations for the future. We are confident and enthusiastic and wanting to put our mark on all things that truly matter to us. The Leo Moon conjuncts Jupiter, the Moon squares Venus and the Moon trines Uranus. Some of our new interests and expressions of a new sense of self may rub someone the wrong way. The more we can be graceful in our movements and the less belligerent we can be, the better we can advance our new interests without making tsunami-like waves that would only create havoc for us further down the shoreline. Venus trines Pluto, and we could be considering our contact list, pruning the list of those people who are not significant to our future and are more reminiscent of our past, meanwhile connecting with those people that we see as essential to our future and our intended plans. While there is a great deal of energy to start the day, with us likely to jump out of bed enthusiastic and with great intentions, the energy dies down as the day continues with the Moon going Void-of-Course for over twenty-eight hours making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Leo and before the Moon enters Virgo tomorrow. Mercury exits Pisces to enter Aries. With the end to the Mercury transit of Pisces, a Sign in which Mercury is in Detriment and uncomfortable, we may be less emotional and can clear the cobwebs from our recent foggy thinking. Our thoughts now may focus on our personal interests and our projects. We want what we want and the way that we want it. We just have to be wary that we don’t narrow our vision and think solely of our own self-interests and not take into account how our decisions could impact other people in our lives.

Tuesday, March 31st – Champing at the Bit – Moon Void-of-Course, Mars, Lunar T-Square, Saturn, Mars Taurus. Tuesday may be slow-starting thanks to the continuance of the Void-of-Course Moon that began yesterday and continues on into this Tuesday with the Moon making no connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Leo and before entering Virgo today. Mars exits its own Sign of Aries to enter Taurus, a Sign of its Detriment and where Mars is not comfortable. As the Moon moves into Virgo, the Moon trines Mars and the Moon triggers a Mutable Sign T-Square with the Moon today square Saturn and the Moon tomorrow opposed Neptune. Although the Mars transit of its own Sign of Aries has given us the passion and desire to launch new involvements and start new projects, some of our initiations may have been hasty and begun more out of impetuousness than considered deliberations. We may find that things are slowing down, allowing us to take things step by step and in the process lay down solid foundation stones. While the volatility and rapid pace of these times urge us to have tomorrow what we would have preferred to have yesterday, we might be champing at the bit to get on with it, feeling held back and resenting the frustrations and delays. If we are willing to go slow, we can establish some solid basis from which to build our future. To get to our tomorrows, we may need to address old issues, attend to outstanding matters and complete unresolved affairs that stand between us with where we have been in contrast to where we are going.

Wednesday, April 1st – Who Be the Fool? – Lunar T-Square, Neptune, Pluto. Wednesday is the ‘hump’ day of the work week and this Wednesday is also the first day of April, which is sometimes referred to as April Fool’s Day. The Moon continues its transit of Virgo with the Moon completing the Mutable Sign T-Square begun yesterday when the Moon squared Saturn and today with the Moon opposed Neptune. The Moon also trines Pluto. Appearance and substance are often two different things, and today we could start the day in a confused state as to which is which. Are we dealing with reality or only our own imagined fantasy? This is a day when we can continue with the specifics of our responsibilities, past issues needing to be completed and new interests we wish to develop. If we don’t get lost in a maze of possibilities and overwhelmed by all the things we need or want to do and instead prioritize our day’s activities, we can accomplish a great deal in attending to various matters. It is important that we not be distracted by the irrelevant or that we create problems for ourselves through the ranting of our imaginary meanderings. This is a day for us to focus, concentrate, accomplish what needs to get done and not play the role of the fool. Pranksters there are many, but none more so than the illusions in our mind.

Thursday, April 2nd – All the Right Pieces – Venus, Moon Void-of-Course, Mercury, Saturn, Sun, Jupiter. Thursday can be a highly productive day, but we’ll have to keep the steam up for us to have adequate energy to get through the day. The Virgo Moon trines Venus before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for over twenty-two hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Virgo and before the Moon enters Libra tomorrow. Mercury trines Saturn and the Sun trines Jupiter. We can draw upon our confidence and enthusiasm to virtually move mountains on this Thursday. We have the desire to achieve great results and to realize our greatest ambitions. Not that we are leaping ahead without considering the parameters, the circumstances and conditions of our situation. On the contrary, we are taking the time, devising a best practices approach and looking at how we can accomplish our goals. This is a day when we may present ourselves in a very grounded and impressive manner. We back up our plans with optimism and a well-devised strategy. We have it going on today and are handed all the right pieces to make everything we touch work. We just have to keep up the energy but not in a frantic or frenetic manner. No, this is a day for us to take things one step at a time. The journey may be a great deal shorter than we could have imagined.

Friday, April 3rd – Reconfigurations – Saturn, Mercury. Friday is Good Friday in the Christian religion, the day that Jesus the Christ was crucified. Friday has the Moon in Libra with the Moon today sextile Saturn and the Moon opposed Mercury. With recent energies emphasizing the Aries energies of self-focus and new beginnings and with tomorrow having the Libra Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse triggering the waning Uranus Pluto square, the question arises as to how we fit in to the world at large and with our significant relationships, especially with us going through our own shapeshifting transformations. There may have to be reconfigurations with both how we see ourselves and how we engage with other people. Friday may have us contacting people from our past and people we have recently encountered. To some degree, such reconnections may provide us a mirror for a better understanding of who we are becoming, where we have been and the potential trajectories of our future. The Christian religious holidays of Good Friday and Easter represent the crucifixion and the resurrection indicated as well by the Vernal Equinox whereby we die to the old year to be born into the new year as the Sun ends its transit of Pisces and one revolution through the Zodiac and enters Aries, the beginning of a new annual revolution through the zodiac. Endings and beginnings, and this weekend can give us thought as to what we are leaving behind and how we are moving forward.

Saturday, April 4th – Turning Point – Jupiter, Libra Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse, Lunar T-Square, Sun, Pluto, Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course. Saturday has the Libra Moon sextile Jupiter and the Libra Full Moon, a Lunar Eclipse, triggering the Uranus Pluto square with a Lunar T-Square as the Moon opposes both the Sun and Uranus and the Moon squares Pluto. No one of us is an island unto ourselves, no matter how misunderstood we might feel we are at times. This Saturday can be a day of dealing with our errands and our ‘to do’ list, but let’s recognize that the energy today can be ratcheted up severalfold. It would be wise that we give quality time today to that special person, or persons, in our lives. We are born alone, and we die alone, and in the interim we meet and encounter and engage various people at different times. This Saturday allows us to put in perspective our significant relationships. The day may provide us opportunities to engage the creative aspects of ourselves and other people. In the kaleidoscope of changing parameters and shifting sands of these times, the essential connection between ourselves and those people with whom we connect on a soul level is never lost, only sullied at times. Today is a good day for us to regroup, re-create and recreate with some fun activities with other people. No throwing down the gauntlet today. Relationships are often difficult, but we need not make them harder by standing rigid in our position or absorbed in our self-importance. Life is all about give and take, and if we don’t participate in the give element, the universe might step forward, take and force our hand to give. After a flurry of activity in the early part of the day, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for twenty-seven hours with the Moon making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before entering Scorpio tomorrow.

Sunday, April 5th – Don’t Shoot the Bunny – Moon Void-of-Course, Mars, Sun, Pluto. Sunday is Easter and today the Void-of-Course Moon that began yesterday continues on through much of today with the Moon in Libra making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Libra and before the Moon enters Scorpio, where today the Moon opposes Mars. Just as yesterday’s Lunar Eclipse triggered the Uranus Pluto waning square, today the Uranus Pluto square is triggered by the Sun square Pluto today, followed tomorrow by the Sun conjunct Uranus. This is a day when we might feel that much has been taken from us over the past months and recent years. Various losses, releases, eliminations may feel poignant at this time, but it also could reveal to us more of a blank slate upon which we can draw our future. This is Easter in Christian theology, representative of the resurrection of the Christ, similar to the mythological bird phoenix rising from the ashes of its funeral pyre to soar ever higher. So too for ourselves. We can see this day as a day when we realize that we might have been brought back down to our fundamentals, back to our essence and that a new evolved self can rise from the debris of our past. This is also a day when a significant figure could step off the world stage. But with every so-called ending are new beginnings, and we might realize as we start this coming week that we have relieved ourselves of certain burdens, certain inner demons, and that we can not only rise from our ashes but that we can carve a new path, a new sense of self with greater autonomy and more in synch with the new paradigm. Let’s keep in mind that the new paradigm of asequential reality calls for us to let go of our conditioned patterns of control and mastery over situations in order to be liberated and become the co-creator of our destiny with the natural unfolding of the universal energies.
