The first full week of Spring, this week can be a highly productive week with us lining our ducks up in a row for our springtime projects.
The week begins with us focused on our goals and tasks. We can devise an effective strategy by which to achieve results in a most expeditious manner, even with some of the curveballs of unexpected situations and obstacles getting in our way. Perhaps we have learned the tai chi moves of being aware of the energies and navigating the changing currents of these times. We certainly have it going on this week and may feel pretty good about our abilities at dodging curveballs and proceeding optimistically towards gaining our ambitions.
While we are concentrating on our responsibilities and what we need to get done early in the week, the mid-part of the week could have us reaching out to friends and contacts, seeking their advice and offering them encouragement. A mutual admiration society may be in effect and why not when we consider all the trials and tribulations each of us has gone through in these recent times. We may feel as though we have gotten through the dark night of our soul, are re-energized and capable of successfully dealing with anything that might be thrown at us.
Towards the end of the week, we might choose to tie up loose ends, do a Spring cleaning to rid ourselves of outstanding matters in order for us to have a clean slate from which to draw upon new interests, new projects, new springtime activities. Our intuitive sense can be strong, and we can inherently sense what we need to concentrate on.
We may seek out those people who have been having a hard time, offer them not only a shoulder to cry on but also give them insight as to how they can get beyond the stumbling blocks along the path of their life journey. Our compassion is engaged, and we may be doing some good deed for someone.
Our weekend may be a time for errands, bill payments and reconnections. While elements of the past might come forward over the weekend, if they do, they offer us a mirror for us to see where we were back then compared to where we are now. Even though we have all gone through a honing process, which some of us might refer to as having been beaten up, we may have more of a spring in our step, a greater maturity and be more aware of the growth that life’s circumstances have provided us.
The weekend ends with the Aries New Moon. Spring may have started last week, but the starting gun of the Spring season may be fired with Sunday’s New Moon impacting the next two weeks. Off to the races!
Monday, March 24th – Taking Care of Business – Neptune, Mercury, Lunar T-Square, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto. Monday has the Capricorn Moon sextile both Neptune and Mercury in Pisces. The Moon triggers the Cardinal Grand Cross today with a Lunar T-Square as the Moon opposes Jupiter, the Moon squares Uranus and the Moon conjuncts Pluto. We may have an intuitive sense about how we can best proceed on this Monday to start the week. It would be wise for us to make our plans and mark our schedule in pencil with a large eraser for there could be various curve balls that add to our calendar and demand our immediate attention. It will be important for us to make certain we have some breathing space to add on any matters that come up which we had not planned for. And it would be wise for us to prioritize our activities in order for us to focus on the truly meaningful and not be distracted by the superfluous. As long as we expect the unexpected on this Monday, we can accomplish a lot both by our perseverance and trusting our inner knowing of what to do and how best to do it.
Tuesday, March 25th – Putting One Foot in Front of the Other – Saturn, Mars, Moon Void-of-Course. Tuesday might not be an especially exciting day. We may follow through on some of the tasks and obligations begun yesterday that we continue with on this Tuesday. The Capricorn Moon sextiles Saturn and the Moon squares Mars before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for over ten hours making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Capricorn and before entering Aquarius late in the day. Somebody may want us to come out and play today, but today is best served dealing with the details and focusing on what needs to be done. Even if someone admonishes us by reciting the age-old proverb of “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”, it might be wise to postpone our play time and enjoy ourselves some other day. Tuesday is a day for us to have nose to grindstone, take care of the details and not grouse about what we have to do.
Wednesday, March 26th – Up, Up and Away – Sun, Uranus, Mercury, Jupiter. Although Wednesday is often referred to as ‘hump’ day coming as it does in the middle of the work week, this Wednesday could be an especially pleasant day. Like great adventurers, we could find ourselves in exploration of new thrills and exciting terrain. The Moon in Aquarius today sextiles both the Sun and Uranus in Aries. Mercury trines Jupiter. We are likely to be feeling upbeat, getting a good dose of ‘spring fever’ and willing to try things that are unfamiliar to us. We want excitement, thrills and are open to surprising developments. Our optimism gives us a strong injection of confidence. We are unafraid, willing to take risks and especially interested in discovering new aspects of ourselves. This is a day when we want to be free to roam and do whatever catches our fancy. If we worked with the energies over the past two days and took care of various outstanding matters and our routine responsibilities, we can use today to engage our ‘spring fever’ to enjoy the sense of the new season with its fiery impetus for new beginnings, initiations and self-assertions. This Wednesday can be a spectacular day if we take off the blinders and lead the parade when we hear the music starting.
Thursday, March 27th – Lazy Bones – Venus, Saturn, Mars, Moon Void-of-Course. After the upbeat feelings of yesterday, it might be hard for us to get back on track on this Thursday. Most of the energy of this day occurs in the morning hours. The Aquarius Moon conjuncts Venus, the Moon squares Saturn and the Moon trines Mars. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost eleven hours making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Aquarius and before entering Pisces. This is a day when we would prefer to chat people up, get together with someone and put our responsibilities aside. We can justify any time away from our tasks as time spent on considering our future options and on engaging the social imperatives of being with the important people in our lives. We may feel as though interactions with other people are needed just to keep ourselves in the game, but we might not accomplish a great deal in regard to dealing with our present obligations. Let’s hope we were highly productive earlier in the week in dealing with our routine matters, for from Wednesday on we could be spending time in la-la-land, a world of possibilities rather than the practical IS.
Friday, March 28th – Highly Effective With Less Expenditures – Neptune, Jupiter, Pluto, Mercury. Even if the past two days found us feeling good and meandering in a field of possibilities with occasions for conversations with friends about future prospects and little attention to our routine matters, this Friday can make up for our neglect of what needs to be done. Perhaps we have all been seduced by a strong dose of ‘spring fever’ over the past two days. But such stepping away from old patterns and from our concentration on routine habits offers ‘mental health’ days when we can reprogram, regroove and transition from the ways we have been doing things. This Friday allows us to step into the new paradigm and exercise our ability and willingness to let things happen and let the universe unfold without us getting in our own way and making things more difficult than they have to be. Breaking free from our conditioned learning of being in control of our situations and making things happen, this Friday provides us the opportunity of being willing co-creators with the natural unfolding of the universe. Friday has the Pisces Moon conjunct Neptune, the Moon trine Jupiter, the Moon sextile Pluto and the Moon conjunct Mercury. Mercury sextiles Pluto. This Friday is a day when we can be far more effective with less expenditure of energy, if we would trust in the universe and the natural unfolding. By listening to our inner voice and embracing the childhood sentiment of ‘awe and wonder’, we could find this day unfold in a most magical, mystical manner. Things can fall easily into place. Our sensitivity is likely to be ratcheted up severalfold and with it a certain knowing without knowing. Issues that have perplexed us may seem more easily understood. Pieces to the puzzle can fit neatly together in a most mysterious manner. We may feel far more attuned to what is really going on and less susceptible to having things put over on us by the scintillating images and enticing glib presentations. As though equipped with laser-like vision, we can see beyond the appearances and able to understand what is really going on. We can be highly productive today especially in regard to our planning, understanding and consideration of fundamental basics. We do need to be aware that with our sensitivity increased we may be like dry sponges taking to water, soaking up the impressions, feelings and energies of every thing and every one around us.
Saturday, March 29th – Before the Dawn – Saturn, Venus, Mars, Moon Void-of-Course. Saturday has the Pisces Moon trine Saturn before the Moon goes Void-of-Course for over twelve hours making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Pisces and before entering Aries. We are in the dark side of the Moon prior to tomorrow’s Aries New Moon. Venus trines Mars and Venus squares Saturn today. The energy today may be best used for catch-up, to bring closure to matters that we need to resolve and to do a good spring cleaning. While old matters may demand our attention today, the more we can address outstanding issues the more of a blank slate we shall have for new projects, interests and activities we might choose to engage with the triggering of tomorrow’s New Moon. If there have been people that we felt the need to contact but haven’t done so in a while, today would be a good day to do so by phone, email or by getting together. We may not want to spend a great deal of time on any one situation today. We could be far more interested in completions and closures, all with the sense that the incipient feelings of Spring we have engaged are mere dalliances with the real thrust of Spring coming with tomorrow’s New Moon. While we might be busy cleaning the stables today, even if a Herculean task, the evening could have us involved with social obligations. Let’s see whatever we have planned and scheduled as necessary engagements, but let’s also take some time to rest up, for tomorrow the starting gun of Spring is likely to be fired and we may be fast out of the starting gate with various initiations and new beginnings.
Sunday, March 30th – Fast Out of the Gate – Aries New Moon, Lunar T-Square, Sun, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto. We may have been feeling the itches of ‘spring fever’ since Spring first sprung ten days ago, but today with the Aries New Moon could be the real thing. The Aries New Moon triggers the Cardinal Grand Cross with today emphasizing a Lunar T-Square with the Moon conjunct both the Sun and Uranus, the Moon square Jupiter in Cancer and the Moon square Pluto in Capricorn. This Aries New Moon sets the signature for the next two weeks, and we may find ourselves fast out of the starting gate today. Our interests may not be so much in what we have to do as in what we want to do. We could be juggling any number of things, dealing with our personal interests, new adventures, home and family matters, and our routine obligations. With so much going on, we could easily exhaust ourselves. But we have fire in our belly, and we are looking at putting our imprint on our projects, activities and involvements. No matter what the restraints might be, we have no concern about being held back. We are going for it. Although we might be like a bull in a china shop, we are moving full speed ahead, impetuous and willing to engage anything that catches our fancy without a moment’s notice. We may be feeling a second wind, wanting to trumpet our talents, and willing to do whatever it takes to win our ways. The infusion of energy can be a nice reprieve from the winter doldrums we might have experienced. We are ready for Spring, no matter what the weather might be, and ready to fully engage the renaissance and rebirth that Spring affords.
