The extremes of high energy and low energy periods continue this week. We may be looking at emptying the cup and filling up the cup as we go back and forth between buying stuff and getting rid of stuff.
We are caught this week in the Uranus Pluto square thanks to Mars triggering the Cardinal Sign T-Square. When we are hot, we are blistering hot, and when we’re not, we may feel as though we are standing still in quicksand.
The early part of the week can have us adding to our wardrobe, fixing up things around our home and enjoying the good things in life. We may feel that finally the legacy of summertime with fun events and recreational activities is upon us. We just have to watch for mimicking extreme sports and taking on the mantle of an accident waiting to happen.
Mid-week could have us acting impetuously, irresponsibly. Unexpected situations may demand that we be nimble and quick in response to curveballs flying at us from virtually out of the blue. After this hump day that could seem more like a mountainous summit hard to overcome, the energy dies down and seems far more placid.
We enter August, the month that unofficially seems to be time for summer holidays. Although back to school has been creeping ever more into our August summer activities, this early part of August allows for many of us to take ‘staycations’ or vacations.
With the strong emphasis upon Cancer, we may choose to spend more time at home or travel to family reunions. The weekend can be a pleasant one but one when we might be singing the virtues of ‘home, sweet home.’
Monday, July 29th – Makeovers, Do Overs – Neptune, Lunar T-Square, Saturn, Sun, Jupiter, Lunar Grand Trine, Venus, Pluto, Mars. No matter how we try, we might be fine tuning, fixing up, re-doing, and all in the early part of the day. Our vision for something and how we picture something in the abstract may be vivid and clear, but we might have great difficulty in the execution. The Moon today is in Taurus. The Moon sextiles Neptune and then the Moon creates a T-Square with the Moon opposed Saturn, and the Moon square the Sun. There can be delays and frustrations trying to get things done. We might feel that things are just not going the exact way we want them to go. We might be exacting in our demands and, as a result, we may find ourselves spinning our wheels. The energy of impediments and obstacles can then suddenly lift. The Moon moves from the T-Square to the Moon sextile Jupiter and the Moon triggering a Grand Trine in the Earth Element as the Moon trines Venus in Virgo and the Moon trines Pluto in Capricorn. After various frustrating delays, the energy shifts dramatically and we could find ourselves operating on greased wheels with things working out smoothly and in a most appealing manner. From squeaks and squawks early in the day, we move into things flowing easily in the most expeditious ways and looking their optimum best, as well. The Moon sextiles Mars, and once we have the right fit, the right format and a renewed confidence, things can all fit neatly into places.
Tuesday, July 30th – Looking Good, Feeling Good – Mercury, Moon Void-of-Course, Venus, Pluto. Tuesday continues with the Taurus Moon, which today has the Moon sextile Mercury. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for close to twenty-four hours making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Taurus and before entering Gemini on Wednesday. Venus trines Pluto. While yesterday could have us caroming from stops and starts, honings and repeatedly trying to get it right before things started to flow easily, today may reap some of the benefits of any agonies we suffered in yesterday’s blocks and finally releases from our delays to the ease of ways. We are looking good, feeling good, and we can make an authoritative and well put together presentation. We can be highly impressive today, able to make our case and do so with a powerful presence and strong impressions. We may feel far more comfortable in our own skin, and can seek out the support and advocacy of people in significant position. We are looking for those who can assist us in moving ever closer to the realization of our dreams. We may spend more time on fixing things up around our home and making contact with family and friends with whom we wish to share our strength of character and our recent activities. This is a powerful day when our presence shines and we can gain acceptance both for who we are and for what we are doing.
Wednesday, July 31st – All Fall Down – Moon Void-of-Course, Neptune, Mars, Uranus. Wednesday continues with the Moon in Taurus but also Void-of-Course with its lack of connection to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Taurus and before entering Gemini later in the day. The Moon in Gemini squares Neptune today. We may feel confused as though we are on mental overload with too much information. Add to this conundrum, we also have Mars finishing its trigger of the Uranus Pluto square that began last weekend when Mars opposed Pluto. Today, Mars squares Uranus. If we do not keep a handle on today’s energies, and that could be a tall order with us tending to be here, there and everywhere, and juggling an ever-growing number of activities and involvements; then today could prove to be an accident waiting to happen. We may be caroming from one thing to another, but doing so more in passion than with clarity. Let’s be certain that we rein in our impetuousness. We might want to be spontaneous and ‘in the moment’, but we do need to avoid rash actions based on nothing more than a whim and our determination. We could easily find ourselves making wrong moves, stepping in ‘it’, and creating a heap of trouble for all concerned, and especially for ourselves. This is a day when we could emulate the children’s nursery rhyme and play of ‘all fall down’.
Thursday, August 1st – Explorations, Self-Discoveries – Sun, Venus, Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course. Much of today’s activity can occur in the first half of the day. The Gemini Moon today sextiles the Sun, the Moon squares Venus and the Moon sextiles Uranus. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for almost thirty-six hours making no further connections to the planets as the Moon finishes its transit of Gemini and before entering Cancer late tomorrow, early Saturday. The day starts with us feeling upbeat and looking for all sorts of grand adventures. We might prove a little much for someone, and we do have to watch for critical attitudes. Either we can be the perpetrator seeing other people as stodgy and trying to rain on our parade. Or we could be perceived by someone as being a little too full of ourselves and wanting our own way with little consideration of other people’s wishes. Relationships could be dicey today, but we want to have fun, explore new avenues of interest and not feel restricted by anyone or any standards of behavior. This is a day of self-discovery, learning new things about life and about ourselves. We may be impulsive, but we are less likely to be rash as we were yesterday. This Thursday can be a fun day, but we might put our routine obligations on the back burner to investigate realms unknown to us.
Friday, August 2nd – Straightening Things Out – Moon Void-of Course, Venus, Mars. The Void-of-Course Moon that began yesterday with the Moon transiting Gemini and making no connections to the planets continues through today, early tomorrow as the Moon finishes its transit of Gemini and before entering Cancer. Venus sextiles Mars today. This is a day when we can make nice with anyone whose toes we might have stepped on over the past two days. An impulsive nature that we might have engaged could have triggered hurt feelings in others at the least, or outright adversarial reactions from others at the worst. This is a day when we can straighten things out. We can be gracious and charming, warm and comforting and far more solicitous than over the past two days. The frenzy of the last two days does not necessarily drop away, but we have a better way of handling it. We may still be juggling a number of different activities, but we have the rhythm down and can juggle without dropping the ball or hitting someone square in the face. This Friday can be a pleasant day, and we might look to get together with someone to show our appreciation of who they are and their willingness to put up with some of our self-involved antics.
Saturday, August 3rd – Warm Comforting Feelings – Lunar Grand Trine, Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter, Pluto. With the Moon entering its own Sign of Cancer, the Water Grand Trine that is operating through the Spring of 2014 is triggered today. The Cancer Moon conjuncts Jupiter, the Moon trines Neptune in Pisces and the Moon trines Saturn in Scorpio. The Moon also opposes Pluto. This is a day when we may have that warm and fuzzy feeling. No matter our gender, we might feel like the Cosmic Mother, wanting to care and nurture anyone and everyone. This can be a highly pleasant day, especially if we have time to relax around our home and enjoy the company of our loved ones. We might not feel the need to address certain obligations today, for we are far more interested in our home projects and enjoying the sanctuary of our home. Our sensitivities can be ratcheted up severalfold. We might have intuitive hunches today and whether they are right or wrong, we are not looking for anyone to discount our feelings. Our emotions are heightened significantly. Let’s embrace the love and goodness of being alive. We can walk on the sunny side of the street today, but we do need to avoid the sordid and the mundane. We may be in our own world, but we are loving our world and the protective womb we have created for ourselves. Although we are often highly active on Saturdays, we might look for this Saturday to be a day of rest, a time to luxuriate, pamper ourselves and satiate ourselves with chocolates and treats.
Sunday, August 4th – Free to Be, or Not – Uranus, Mars, Venus, Sun. In one way or another, all of us have been champing at the bit to bring about greater change in our lives. We have experienced the world around us change, the parameters in which we are doing our lives shift dramatically, and we want to make certain that we too are going through our changes. Whether it is a need to keep pace with the changes occurring around us or a desire to break out of old molds, each of us may have this nagging feeling that who we were is not who we are and certainly not who we intend to be. The push pulls between our past and our future can be evident today. The Cancer Moon today squares Uranus, the Moon conjuncts Mars, and the Moon sextiles Venus. The Sun trines Uranus. We might be slightly reticent about quick, dramatic changes, and we might question whether we have the ability to leap chasms from whom we have been to who we choose to be. We might need to go through the motions, engage dress rehearsals and practice our new sense of being before coming out to the world as a new, authentic ‘me’. Even if we cannot fully embrace a new sense of ourselves, even the internal proddings are an indication of a rebirth, a renaissance within ourselves that is akin to nature in the Spring with its appearance of buds on trees, stems of flowers popping up from the ground all in preparation of their bursting forth and coming out in regal splendor. So too for ourselves. Today is a day when we might show hints of who we are in process of becoming. The journey is one of continual growth and development and today we are likely to participate in new activities, new forms of self-expression and find that we want to be free and will be free, whether we feel free in the moment or not. This can be an exciting day when we can use the support systems of our past to venture into new territory, whether that territory be unfamiliar involvements or unfamiliar aspects of ourselves. We do not have to make it all happen, but we do need to be open to the possibilities. The universe is at work providing opportunities for our new growth, our new burgeoning. What a wonder-filled world in which we live!
