With the 1st of April being the beginning of this week and the start of this month, we do not have to play the fool. On the contrary, we can be feeling upbeat, confident and ready to expand our interests and broaden our operations. We could be feeling so good about ourselves and about our lives, that we could be humming ‘everything’s coming up roses.’
We may want to put our mark on our activities, but we might need to clear our path of brambles, those silly distractions that divert our focus and those responsibilities that demand our attention. While the early part of the week may have us dealing with what needs to be done rather than our being able to act spontaneously and on impulse, the more we clean up our act and clear up outstanding matters and clear out the extraneous in the early part of the week, the more we can use the latter part of the week to look at get-togethers with good friends, engage in conversations that might highlight our future prospects and consider where we want to go as opposed to where we have been or where we are presently.
The weekend is a good time for some idyllic reflections, contemplating our lives and truly enjoying the love and comfort of that special someone.
This is not a week when we are looking to be confrontational or adversarial. Rather, somewhat akin to the Rodney Dangerfield character in the movie Back to School, we may be engaging the sentiment of being a lover, not a fighter. We are more interested in the camaraderie and support of other people than trying to one up anyone. We are all likely to be feeling fairly good about things. It’s Spring and even if the weather is not totally cooperative, nothing seems to dampen our spirits this week.
Monday, April 1st – Robust and Ready – Mars, Moon Void-of-Course, Sun, Jupiter. Monday is April 1st, often referred to as All Fool’s Day. We are not looking to play the fool today. On the contrary, we may be upbeat, feeling good about ourselves and about our lives and ready to expand into new activities. The Moon continues its transit of Sagittarius and the Moon trines Mars before going Void-of-Course for twenty-four and a half hours making no further connections to the planets as it finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before entering Capricorn late tonight, early Tuesday morning. While the energy dies down, we may be too much in top form to truly notice. For the Sun also sextiles Jupiter today. We could be feeling our oats, optimistic, fully confident about our present trajectory and our future potential and seeing the world through rose-colored glasses. Nothing may put a kibosh on our mood today. If we don’t like what is happening around us, we are more likely to look further afield than confront the issues nearby.
Tuesday, April 2nd – Getting Down to Business – Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Pluto. Tuesday’s Moon is in Capricorn and today the Moon sextiles Neptune, the Moon squares Uranus, the Moon sextiles Saturn and the Moon conjuncts Pluto. We might have to put our desire to roam free and do our own thing on the back burner today. This is too good a day in which we can be highly productive, deal with outstanding matters and take care of tying up loose ends. While we might feel our wings are being clipped, we are likely to be the wingclippers with the realization that we have the push and drive to accomplish a great deal and clear up various issues that might have been hanging over our head. Tuesday and Wednesday are days when we can accomplish a lot in regard to our routine matters. In so doing, we can clear the decks, make room for some fun time later in the week and also create space for new projects and new activities. This is a primo day to get things done. Let’s just not be whiners as we attend to the tasks at hand.
Wednesday, April 3rd – Spanners in the Spokes – Sun, Venus, Mercury, Mars, Moon Void-of-Course. Even if we were highly productive yesterday, we might have resented having to do deal with obligations rather than enjoying spur-of-the-moment involvements. If we have allowed resentment to creep into our work performance, we could be self-sabotaging ourselves and may be shooting ourselves in the foot. Sometimes, we just have got to do what we have got to do. We might resent some of our daily responsibilities, would prefer to play hooky and embrace spring fever, but we do not need to get in our own way. Wednesday can be a good work day, but we might have all sorts of ideas for our time and energy. Nonetheless, the Moon continues through Capricorn today and on this Wednesday the Moon squares the other Aries-transiting planets. The Moon squares the Sun, the Moon squares Venus and the Moon squares Mars. The Moon also sextiles Mercury. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for over twenty-two hours making no further connections to the planets as it finishes its transit of Capricorn and before entering Aquarius tomorrow. Grousing about what we have to do can be wearying and not only for the people around us but also on ourselves. If we would bite the bullet and deal with our scheduled commitments, we can get them out of the way and then have time to do whatever we might choose to do. There may be wrenches thrown into the spokes of the wheels, but we could be the wrench throwers. It would be wise for us to get out of our own way and do what needs to be done. Let’s keep in mind that this year has some very long Void-of-Course Moons when the energy dies down. That’s one of the reasons it is so important to be attentive to the energies, run when the energies signal to run, walk when the energies signal to walk, work when the energies signal to work and take it down a notch or two when the energy dies down.
Thursday, April 4th – A New Day Dawning – Uranus, Saturn. Thursday can provide us quite a break from our recent focus on what was staring us in the face — outstanding matters, routine tasks, usual obligations. The Moon enters Aquarius, and today the Moon sextiles Uranus and the Moon squares Saturn. Even if we have situations to attend to, we are looking to take a break from our regimen and do things on the fly. We are far more interested in exploring our possibilities, but it would be wise for us to keep in mind our financial situation in order to avoid investing too heavily into possibilities. Change for the sake of change could prove meaningless and costly. A push pull between old and new can be irritating, but some of the pushback may be a healthy braking action on our tendency to otherwise go full bore and impetuously take on activities that seem good from the outside, not so much once we get involved. We might enter into interesting conversations, some of which may provide startling insights into areas we have never considered. This is a day for us to take off the blinders and replace a narrow perspective with a broad viewpoint and look from peripheral vision. Magical opportunities could come forward but let’s not make comparison to the traditional standards of what we have done in the past.
Friday, March 5th – Making Our Case – Jupiter, Sun, Venus, Mars, Moon Void of Course. Friday continues with the Moon in Aquarius. Today, the Moon trines Jupiter and the Moon sextiles the Sun, the Moon sextiles Venus and the Moon sextiles Mars. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for nineteen and a half hours making no further connections to the planets as it finishes its transit of Aquarius and before entering Pisces tomorrow. No matter the blockages to our plans that might have impeded us yesterday, today we are accepting the age-old understanding that ‘where there’s a will, there’s a way’. This Friday is a day when we can think outside the box, engage others to both support us through encouragement and in execution of our projects, and we could make some of our dreams a greater reality. We just have to believe in our opportunities. Intention goes a long way towards realization, and today we can be convincing in our arguments for what we want to do. Friends are valuable resources, and we could see someone stepping up and truly being there for us. Let’s reach out and connect with those special people in our lives. Everyone needs a little sunshine now and again, and a cheery voice, a loving smile and a sense of appreciation can contribute to their willingness to help us out whether right in the moment or as capital we can draw upon in the future.
Saturday, April 6th – Beyond our Realities – Neptune. Saturday can be a slow starting day. The Moon moves into Pisces where today the Moon conjuncts Neptune. We could be very moody on this Saturday. There is not a great deal of energy, and we might find that we are being swayed by our emotions. Our feeling nature can be ratcheted up severalfold today, and we have to avoid drawing conclusions from first impressions. We may assume that we know what is going on, but the greater likelihood is that our sentiments are flavoring our opinions. We may feel like a dry sponge taking to water, drawing the sights, sounds and stimuli of our external environment into our very being and influencing our moods, thoughts and actions. Taking time to reflect and contemplate would be a good use of today’s energy. We are not looking to move mountains. On the contrary, we are more interested in understanding what is going on in our lives and what the meaning of our lives is all about. This can be a highly spiritual day, certainly a highly emotional day. Let’s feed our spirit and our soul with good music, uplifting literature and quiet times in nature. There can be an escapist quality to this Saturday, as though we would like the world to stop in order for us to get off the track. We can determine where to put our energies and how, and this Saturday would be a good time for quiet contemplation and meditation on the bigger picture of our life on earth.
Sunday, April 7th – Spirit in Action – Saturn, Pluto, Jupiter, Venus, Mars. Sunday could have us more aligned with our inner essence. The Moon continues its transit of Pisces and today the Moon trines Saturn, the Moon sextiles Pluto and the Moon squares Jupiter. Venus conjuncts Mars. This is a day when image and substance can match. We can present ourselves in a determined manner but without being confrontational or adversarial. We are doing what needs to be done, focusing on the most important aspects of our lives and looking at how we can best play the hand dealt us. This Sunday can be a pleasant and a productive day. We may have a certain magnetic quality about us, but it would be wise for us to be discerning regarding where we place our energies and what we get involved with. We may be somewhat self-focused but our self-interest can be appealing and enticing. We seem to have an aura about us and people may be drawn to us. Let’s use today’s energies to take care of important matters, focus on the specifics and clear out the extraneous. The more we make room for new projects and new activities, the more we can concentrate on situations that seem more aligned with who we are becoming rather than who we have been. This is an exciting day but a day when still waters run deep. More goes on than meets the eye, and we can advance our interests by the sheer charm of our personality and attitude. We are looking good, feeling good, and able to convey a ‘can do’ attitude to other people.
