This week has a thrust of energy, largely thanks to the Libra New Moon on Monday, which impacts not only this week but also these next two weeks. With this New Moon being in the 3rd Decanate of Libra with a Gemini sub-influence, we may seek to involve ourselves in any number of activities.
As though impacted by attention deficit disorder, we may be far more engrossed in trying out various things, chopping and changing, going from one thing to another to another. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, since the energy can be swift and fast moving. We just have to be aware of what our productive time cycle may be, work with time in a qualitative manner rather than a quantitative measure, and have much on our plate. While our interests can be primarily on juggling, exploring and experimenting; we may also be pulled back into past situations, especially those associated with our finances where we realize that we might not have the same level of resources available to us as in times past.
We may be forced to address outstanding matters, deal with old affairs and tie up various loose ends that we could have assumed had been completed but come back to daunt us and demand a final completion. If we can catch the rhythm, do the dance of back and forth, and work with the energy in fast, almost staccato-like pulsations, we might discover that we are far more effective in shorter periods of time and largely by streamlining our methodology and working smarter rather than harder.
While the week starts off fast and furious, the early part of the week can also have us clearing the decks and getting rid of things that no longer work for us. We may be looking to have a clean slate upon which to draw our next grand adventures.
The mid to latter part of the week can engage some grand new adventures as we look to expand our interests and broaden our involvements. We may have tied up loose ends in the earlier part of the week, but the latter part of the week could have us filling in any blank spaces, somewhat akin to the saying that ‘the cup has to be emptied before it can be filled’. We might be emptying the cup of our projects and activities early in the week, only to add new interests and new involvements in the later part of the week.
The weekend could have us lining our ducks up in a row, formatting and restructuring much of our ways of doing things. We may be looking at a Fall cleanup and clear out, as we become more interested in creating a best practices approach to realize our ambitions.
Monday, October 15th – Bowl of Cherries or Just the Pits – Libra New Moon, Sun, Moon Void-of-Course, Neptune, Saturn, Mars, Uranus. This Monday gives a signature, and influence, to the next two weeks. This day has the Libra New Moon with the Sun Moon conjunction in the 3rd Decanate of Libra with the Gemini sub-influence. The Moon then goes Void-of-Course for twelve hours making no further connections to the planets as it finishes its transit of Libra and before entering Scorpio where today the Moon trines Neptune and the Moon conjuncts Saturn. Today also has Mars trine Uranus. We may see the possibilities in all things and we are not wary of trying any one thing, or for that matter many, many different things. We might be in a highly explorative state today, looking to new activities that speak to our changing sense of self. We want to be free to do whatever catches our fancy and we might wind up juggling any number of things on this Monday and over the next two weeks. There could be some braking action, but any braking action would be based more on the resources at hand than our personal whims. We are excited and adventuresome but the only thing possibly holding us back would be our resources — our time, our monies, our energy. Even if we assume that we cannot investigate certain possibilities, let’s not allow our sense of limitation to hold us back. We are living in a magical time when mini-miracles can open doors to us that we might have believed to be closed to us. Let’s not limit the IS [as Richard Bach suggested in his classic Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah]. We can always test the waters without having to dive into the deep end.
Tuesday, October 16th – More or Less – Pluto, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Moon Void-of-Course. Tuesday continues with the Moon in Scorpio, and today the Moon sextiles Pluto, sextiles Venus and conjuncts Mercury. Mercury sextiles Venus and Venus squares Jupiter. Late in the day, early Wednesday, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for twenty-two hours making no further connections to the planets as it finishes its transit of Scorpio and before entering Sagittarius late tomorrow, early Thursday. The push pull between resourcefulness and extravagance can be evident today. Although we can be highly resourceful and develop a best practices approach, we also have to be wary of committing too much and taking on more than we can effectively handle. While these days have a great deal on our plate and have us developing a master juggler talent, we also have to avoid needless distractions and tedious diversions. If we can get rid of the old and outworn, then we can open the door to the new and the exciting. We just have to be careful to avoid excess and indulgence, for with whatever we may be throwing out we may also look to replenish and fill anew. Our thoughts can be focused, seeing what is truly meaningful and important to us and also devising the expeditious means to accomplish our goals. Kind of like Goldilocks, on this day it would be wise for us to find the balance between more or less.
Wednesday, October 17th – Crescendo only to Step off the Ledge – Moon Void-of-Course, Neptune. The Moon transiting through Scorpio continues Void-of-Course for much of this day as the Moon finishes its transit of Scorpio without making any further connections to the planets before entering Sagittarius late today, early Thursday. As the Moon moves into Sagittarius, the Moon squares Neptune. This Wednesday could be a fairly quiet day, not much is going on. We can shuffle through papers, do a general clean-up around our home and work space, but the tendency might be for us to hide out, go internally and not seek to overly engage with anyone, much less everyone. Even if we do interact with other people today, we could be holding our cards pretty close to our chest, revealing only a little bit about ourselves but largely concealing much of what is going on with us. Late in the day, early Thursday, the Moon moves into Sagittarius and squares Neptune. Suddenly, our energy could shift dramatically. Instead of feeling restrained, restricted and limited by circumstance, we could throw open the door to indulgence and expansion but without fully considering the ramifications of our actions or even what we are doing or why we are doing it. We might chase pipe dreams and engage in fanciful whims. If we go there, let’s try to do so without too great a cost to ourselves. Exploration and investigation are one thing, commitment and entanglement something else. Let’s engage the former and avoid the latter.
Thursday, October 18th – Firing on All Cylinders – Uranus, Mars, Jupiter. Thursday can be a fun-filled day, especially if we are not limited by our schedule and have some free time to do things spontaneously. Thursday has the Sagittarius Moon trine Uranus, the Moon conjunct Mars and the Moon opposed Jupiter. We may feel as though we are super-charged with energy today, ready not only to take on the world but to also vanquish and conquer the world and everything that crosses our path. We could be incredibly expansive today, assuming that not only can we handle as much as humanly possible but even more. Interesting new developments can put a big smile on our face. Wonderful surprises could come our way and we may feel as though we can accomplish various projects in no time at all. And we might! While we are likely to be firing on all cylinders today, we could also have a tendency to overdo. While there may be a cornucopia of wonder-filled delights for us to engage, let’s not get piggy but pick and choose those situations that speak to our individuality and to our personal creative expression and not fall prey to overload. This Thursday can be primo if we would be tactical and diligent in what we choose to take on.
Friday, October 19th – The Irony of T.G.I.F. – Venus, Sun, Moon Void-of-Course, Neptune. Friday begins with the Sagittarius Moon square Venus and sextile the Sun. We may be far more interested in making our plans for the weekend than taking care of our daily responsibilities. Engrossed in weekend prospects, we could easily gloss over details and be either forgetful or wasteful in whatever we are doing. The idea of ‘let’s live for today’ may not be happening on this Friday, for we may be off in la-la-land romping around and thinking of all the things that we could be doing with little concentration on what we are actually doing. The irony of it all is the fact that whatever our weekend plans might entail, if they are not focused on how we can better our position and advance our interests and deal with aspects of our mundane reality, then plans for fun get-aways and good times may fall flat and might not even occur. As the day progresses, the Moon goes Void-of-Course for almost five and a half hours making no further connections to the planets as it finishes its transit of Sagittarius and before entering Capricorn where it sextiles Neptune. We may get such an ah-ha regarding how best to proceed with some of our goals that we might decide to scotch some of our weekend plans in order to attend to developing our new revelations.
Saturday, October 20th – Adaptability and Flexibility – Saturn, Uranus, Pluto. Saturday can have us fully embracing two of the main tenets of these times: adaptability and flexibility. This Saturday continues with the Capricorn Moon and today the Moon sextiles Saturn, squares Uranus and conjuncts Pluto. We may be looking at focusing on our personal ambitions, but we may have to tweak things in order to be more effective and a little faster in our process. We don’t want to step on toes, but we are also not looking to capitulate to needless demands. Things may come up that force us to divert our attention and have us deal with surprising developments. The more we can adapt to changing circumstance and be flexible in regard to how we address situations, the more we can clear away the superfluous and focus on the truly meaningful. We may want to get off the track today, but let’s not lose our focus on the ball or our long-term goals. We can attend to various errands quickly without having to totally give up our weekend plans.
Sunday, October 21st – Right Place, Right Time – Venus, Mercury, Sun. This Sunday has the Capricorn Moon trine Venus, the Moon sextile Mercury and the Moon square the Sun. We are looking to make hay while the sun shines, and today we can be quite the haymaker. We may engage people who can provide us with some important support to realize our goals. Discussions can be succinct and to the point. While we can offer an appealing image and strong arguments for what we want, we do have to be careful that we don’t seem too much of an opportunist. Nobody wants to be taken advantage of. Whatever our personal interests might be it would be wise for us to create win-win scenarios. Otherwise, we might win our point on the short-term but generate blowback on the longer term. We may be a little too ambitious today for some people who could see us as only looking out for ourselves and smarmy. Let’s keep in mind that people are more likely to get on board with our plans if they see some benefit to themselves.
